The aim of wound debridement is to remove dead tissue, <em>Debridement<\/em> refresh the wound and stimulate healing.<\/p>\n<p>This procedure uses low-frequency ultrasound waves (25 kHz) in combination with a rinsing solution. The cleaning effect is created by the so-called <strong>Kavitationseffekt<\/strong>cavitation effect. The ultrasound generates microscopic bubbles within the fluid, which cause targeted mechanical cleaning when they burst.<\/p>\n<p>This technique makes it possible to preserve healthy tissue while removing dead tissue, bacteria and biofilms in a targeted manner.
